Issue Position

"As an Air Force veteran, I consider myself an advocate for all military veterans. In 2014, my former Air Force supervisor and friend, committed suicide shortly after we both returned home from a deployment to Afghanistan. In 2018, my younger brother died from an accidental opioid overdose. An Army veteran, he had also deployed to Afghanistan. Very few careers require the sacrifice of that which is expected of our military service members and their families. Ensuring the overall well-being of injured veterans should be one of our nation's top priorities!"
